Today I met a guy who is putting his daughter through college. He had $45,000 to spend so he bought a condo for that and paid $45,000 for it. He'll get $600 per month net rent from it and use that to pay for college. If he were to invest it elsewhere and get maybe 2-3% interest he would have made only $112.00 per month.Plus he'll gain some on appreciation. Smart fella!
